These Terms and Conditions govern your use of bullcityhandyman.com and thatshelfguy.com (collectively, the “Site”) and the purchase of custom garage storage systems and related services from Bull City Handyman LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order or using our Site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

1. Orders and Build-to-Order Policy

All products offered by Bull City Handyman LLC are custom built to order. We do not maintain pre-built inventory. Each unit is handcrafted after an order is placed and payment is received. By placing an order you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your unit will be built specifically for you after your order is confirmed
  • Build times are typically 3-7 business days from order confirmation
  • We will contact you to schedule delivery and setup after your unit is complete
  • Exact build times may vary based on order volume and material availability

 

2. Deposit and Payment Policy

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order to begin production. The remaining 50% balance is due upon delivery. By placing an order and paying the deposit you agree that:

  • The 50% deposit is non-refundable once production has begun
  • Production begins within 1-2 business days of receiving your deposit
  • The remaining balance is due in full at the time of delivery
  • We accept all major credit cards and digital wallets through Square
  • Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in your unit being resold

 

3. Cancellation Policy

Because all units are custom built to order, cancellations are subject to the following policy:

  • Cancellations requested before production begins may receive a full refund
  • Cancellations requested after production has begun forfeit the 50% deposit
  • Cancellations requested after unit completion forfeit the full order amount

4. Delivery and Service Area

We deliver and set up orders within our standard service area. The following terms apply to delivery:

  • Standard delivery is included for locations within 15 miles of Durham, NC
  • Delivery to locations beyond 15 miles may incur an additional travel fee
  • We will contact you to schedule a mutually convenient delivery time
  • Someone must be present at the delivery address to receive the order
  • Installation and setup are available for an additional fee of approximately $50-$100 depending on your space

 

5. Pricing and Materials

All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to applicable North Carolina sales tax. We reserve the right to adjust pricing in the event of significant material cost increases. We will notify you of any price changes before beginning production. Bins and storage totes are not included with any unit unless explicitly stated.

 

6. Product Description and Compatibility

Our storage rack systems are designed to fit standard 27-gallon storage totes available at Costco, Sam’s Club, and Home Depot. We make no guarantee of compatibility with totes of different sizes or brands. Product photos are representative of the finished product. Minor variations in wood grain and appearance are normal and expected.

 

7. Warranty and Workmanship

We stand behind the quality of our work. Our storage systems are warranted against defects in workmanship for 90 days from the date of delivery. This warranty covers structural defects resulting from our construction. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, overloading, modification, or normal wear and tear. 8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bull City Handyman LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your order shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order.

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from these terms or your order shall be resolved in the courts of Durham County, North Carolina.

 

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our Site or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
